A Gambian court on Tuesday, October 31, sentenced Sanna Fadera to 12 years imprisonment for leading an unsuccessful coup in 2022 against the administration of President Barrow. In January, 2023, eight soldiers were charged with conspiracy and treason for the roles they played in the December 21, 2022 foiled coup.
